Arctic art to go on show in Wooler
The Northumbrian artist, Georgia Rose Murray, has had the privilege of attending a number of research trips to the region.
Her work examines and explores the vividly beautiful colours of the Arctic and the topical issue of climate change which she witnessed at first hand.

Hide AdPainting in the Arctic has its challenges and Georgia was under strict instructions to carry a gun at all times due to the risk of polar bear attacks.
The exhibition will take place at gallery@number6 on Wooler High Street from January 18.
Georgia will give a talk about her work and experiences at a preview evening on January 17 at 6pm. Please reserve a space by calling 01668 282443 if you would like to attend the talk.
