LAST month we featured a story on Berwick beauty Lynn-Marie Fital, who has made it onto the shortlist of a national modelling competition.

Well, now she is going on the campaign trail locally and hoping to get plenty of support.

Lynn-Marie, who works for Barclays at their Seahouses branch, went to Leeds at the end of last year to take part in an audition for Top Model UK 2010 and is now fighting it out with 24 other girls to win the 'Best Commercial' category, with a prize of a modelling contract with a top UK agency, a trip to Milan, photoshoots and other glamorous goodies up for grabs.

The competition will culminate in a catwalk final in London on Sunday, March 14, and like all the other competitors Lynn-Marie needs support from back home.

And she is kicking off her quest for votes with an appearance at Cashmere nightclub, Berwick, on Saturday, February 6, at midnight, when she will be hoping to drum the number 62 into people's heads.

Lynn-Marie is used to working with numbers on a daily basis, but 62 is the most important one at the moment as that is the number people need to text to cast their vote for her.

To register support for Lynn-Marie text MODEL 62 to 88010.
Texts cost £1 and proceeds go to Children with Leukaemia.

Lynn-Marie is also canvassing support on Facebook (Lynn-Marie Fital) and on Twitter (topmodel62).
