POLICE have released CCTV images in an appeal for information after a burglary at a Seahouses petrol station.

Two men stole £500 worth of cigarettes from the Londis shop at the garage on King Street in the early hours of June 15.

The pair were caught on camera just after 1.15am when they smashed the glass pane in the front door and then filled large plastic bins with the stolen goods.

The first man is seen wearing a dark Lonsdale hooded top with light stripes running down arms and light coloured trousers/jeans, dark shoes or trainers and a light blue balaclava.

The second man is wearing a dark Lonsdale hooded top with an emblem to the front and rear and again with white stripes down the arms, dark coloured tracksuit bottoms with stripes down the legs and a greenish blue balaclava.

Det Sgt Steve Flook of Berwick CID said: "Anyone who was in the area at the time, or has any information, is asked to contact Berwick CID on 03456 043043 ext 69191 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111."
