Berwick couple win a holiday from McDonald's

A TWEEDMOUTH couple are heading off to the Canary Islands after winning a holiday from fast food chain McDonald's.

Kelly Taylor and Michael Corrigan from Prior Park could hardly believe their eyes when they pulled back the tab on a soft drink in the Berwick branch and it revealed a superb prize.

"It said we'd won a Thomas Cook holiday so we're going to Fuerteventura for seven nights in September which will coincide with my 30th birthday," said a delighted Kelly.
