Choral society kicks off new season

GLENDALE Choral Society's new term starts on Tuesday, September 9, at 7.30pm in the Cheviot Centre, Padgepool Place, Wooler.
The society meets weekly for two hours to sing a wide variety of songs, some sacred, some secular, many old favourites and some stimulating new works, and always has time for coffee and a chat to lubricate the vocal chords and catch up with friends.
The society performs concerts primarily to raise money for local charities and has developed a loyal following.
Anyone interested in joining the group should simply go along on Tuesday.
All voices are welcome, especially men.
