Toy collection for Christmas

NORTHUMBERLAND Conservatives are running their annual toy collection, and this year all donations are going to under-privileged children in the north east.

Shoppers are being urged to “buy one more toy” and donate it. Last year’s campaign resulted in over 350 presents being delivered to the Salvation Army to distribute

To drop off toys in Berwick, contact Dorothy Wakenshaw, at 7 Tweed Street.

Alternatively, you can act as a collector among friends and family yourself, and apply to Anne-Marie Trevelyan (anne-marie@netherwitton.com or 07970 653258) for them to be picked up.
