Tina gets Greenses residents in festive mood

Four-year-old Tina Graham switched on the festive lights at The Greenses Haven Garden in Berwick and started the sparkling Christmas magic.

The rain and the worst of the cold held off and an appreciative crowd enjoyed the carols from the Berwick Middle and appropriate words from the Reverend Bob Higham.

One of the highlights of the evening was a superb nativity scene that included life-size figures provided by Isobel Cashmore, Billy Warner and other members of the Greenses Residents committee.

The big annual attraction of Santa appearing on the roof top at the Pilot Inn always brings in a happy crowd of children and parents.

This Christmas Eve should be no different with the usual carols and commentary from 6pm until he arrives.
