Computer courses being run for community organisations

COMMUNITY Action Northumberland is inviting local organisations to sign up for a free course revealing how to set up a website using Google Sites and a range of ready-made templates.

By the end of the training you will have a useable website – it really is that simple! The training is free and the only cost involved is in buying the domain name for the website if you don’t already have one, which costs around £8 for two years.

For the more advanced there is an easy accounts training course. Sign up on December 4 at the Youth Hostel 2-4pm, there is a cost of £10 per organisation which pays for the disk and booklet which accompanies this course.
