Plenty to celebrate at Jus-Rol

STAFF at Berwick's biggest employer have plenty to shout about!

So, last week, General Mills Berwick held a 'Celebrate Success Day' for all employees.

Despite the recession, Jus-Rol is enjoying significant progress in several areas.

The event reviewed the many successes that the plant and individuals have enjoyed throughout the last year including its involvement with the many charitable organisations that it supports and the the site's achievement on key international projects.

The event also looked at some of the key equipment installations that have taken place on the site and provided an overview of some of the financial and production successes.

The event also recognised and celebrated what has been achieved, including winning the Northumberland Business Awards 'Employer of the Year' accolade and a bronze award from the Northumberland Healthy People Healthy Business Award.

Every employee entered a free prize draw, received a special rucksack and a celebratory mug, took part in quizzes and competitions, tasted samples from the product development section and supported the site's canteen staff, who were promoting British Pie Week.
